QualiTrace participated in both the District Farmers’ Day exhibition and the National Farmers’ Day exhibition to create awareness on the need to authenticate farm inputs before purchase and use.
The District Farmers’ Day Exhibition
One of the District Farmers’ Day Exhibition held in Anyanisu – Ejura on the 28th of November, 2017 saw QualiTrace represent to create the awareness of counterfeit farm inputs and the need to validate the products we buy before use. QualiTrace was met with great excitement from the District farmers, chiefs from the Ejura district such as Nana Sarfo – ‘Akomum Hene’ and Government officials such as the Mr. Yeboah Asuamah – the District direct for MoFA. They called on QualiTrace to come to their aid and educate their farmers and stakeholders on the use of QualiTrace. QualiTrace presence was supported by RansBoat and Company Limited.
The National Farmers’ Day Exhibition
The National Farmers’ Day Exhibition held in Kumasi – Ashanti region started on the 23rd of November to 1st December, 2017 saw QualiTrace represent to further create the awareness of counterfeit farm inputs and the need to validate the products we buy before use to a wider range of stakeholders. QualiTrace in Partnership with the Plant Protection and Regulatory Service Department (PPRSD) shared the same space to exhibit products in line with building a strong partnership towards solving the challenge of counterfeiting. Team QualiTrace was met and spoke to different industry players to push its agenda which saw a lot of excitement as the masses showed interest in the QualiTrace Innovation. QualiTrace presence was supported by PPRSD.

AgricTech because, some of these challenges the farmers face on the field can be solved innovatively with Technology. The world is embracing the new age of technology in Agriculture which is more effective and produces higher yields, and it is time for the Ghanaian to embrace it.

Farmers are the beginning and most important players in the food supply chain. They give cause to other players to create chains and linkages through processing and manufacturing till the final consumer sees the food on his or her table.
